In 2007, artist Klaus Haapaniemi wowed the design world with his unique Taika collection. Spring 2011 will see the triumph of a new Haapaniemi collection, with warm, glowing terracotta as its main colour. A lush, floral theme circled, of course, by gyrating, delicate dragonflies, lies at the heart of the collection. As ever, Haapaniemi's rendering of an enchanted forest is so evocative that onlookers can almost smell the floral fragrances.

Each Korento (Finnish for dragonfly) piece is hand crafted by applying silk screen print design to basic white porcelain before being glazed and fired. Modern style comes to life in this dinnerware collection, maintaining Iittala’s ability to mix and match pieces while adding a touch of magic to your home and everyday life. Iittala products are built for life. They are oven, microwave, dishwasher and freezer safe.
